Gas masks were issued to everyone and almost everything!
Horses had them and even dogs and cats could be protected with a special kennel
With a baby gas mask, the baby would be placed inside and the belts tightened
It's legs would dangle from the bottom of the bag and parents would have to pump in air to keep the baby alive!
